We work with companies and organizations of any size - while we focus on Small to Mid-sized Companies (and yes we will do start-ups).

We understand that many companies can't afford a full-time C-level person or don't need a full-time C-level person, so that's why we offer our services on an as-needed basis.

Rates

Our rates are variable (yes we have a standard rate). We will reduce our fees-for-service on occasion and based on both the size of the business and the recurrence of services. We can provide Start-ups with interesting options (and no, we don't want equity).

There is nothing more sensitive than talking about money. We will work with you to find a model that makes us both happy, from an hourly rate to a daily rate; or even a percentage of sales, gross revenue or even net adjusted revenue.

Bureaucracy

We don't require and won't specifically ask for (unless it makes sense to both of us): e-mail addresses, log-ins, removal from the premises of documents and/or files, etc. All work is best done at your premises, however we wil telecomute (see below).

We will not ask for, nor assume signatory powers; in fact it would be a breach of our contract with you..

Telecommuting

We will telecommute. It is very cost effective. We have high-speed internet and we cover the cost of all utilities. We can provide time to be on conference calls, and have found cost-effective services for conference calls that we can use. Obviously this option is the exception to some of the statements made in the Bureaucracy section.

Signing Documents

We want to work with a handshake, but must insist upon a signed term sheet. In this litigious society we live in, we realize sometimes more is necessary. We will sign reasonable: mutual non-disclosure agreements, non-circumvent agreements and other documents to ensure your intellectual property, trade secrets and other corporate or organizational agreements are not compromised.

Eliminations

Our services will not eliminate your CPA or CPA firm. They are an integral part of your business and provide complimentary services to ours. Nor will your bookkeeper, office accountant or Controller be replaced. Our services, while involved with the aforementioned are of a different caliber. We are adjunctive and not meant to be replacements for existing staff where services are required on a daily basis.
